Mary Constance Parks is Global Enabler for Voice Design at Honeywell, where she leads the design of voice experiences for Internet of Things initiatives. Prior to joining Honeywell, Mary designed speech and multimodal products and applications for a range of internal and external customers at Nuance Communications as well as at San Francisco Bay Area start-ups TuVox and VocalPoint (acquired by Loquendo). Companies she has worked with include Activision, Aetna, Apple, Cigna, CVS, Dish Networks, Intel, MSN, Oi Wireless (Brazil), PayPal, Salesforce, Tivo, Verizon, Virgin Mobile, Xbox, and Yahoo!. Mary employs linguistic methods throughout the design process and is a champion of user-centered design.
