 With a legacy in VUI leadership, Microsoft Tellme continues to promote the value and the challenge of building great user experiences. Our Director of User Experience Strategy, Elizabeth A. Strand, PhD, is well-recognized as an expert in the VUI world and a champion for good design at Microsoft Tellme. Liz and her team understand the top-of-mind topics and challenges that designers face today, and they continue to work with enterprise clients and design partners to deploy compelling applications that achieve user and business objectives. Liz's team also works in tight collaboration with Microsoft engineering to incorporate innovation and design best practices into Tellme's platform technology, to insure better user experiences across all applications running on the platform. Liz has led the Microsoft Tellme design team for 5 years, and has more than 15 years of experience in the speech technology space.
