April McGee
VP, User Experience Strategy

 April has has a long tenure in the field of usability, starting in telecommunications (Bell Labs) and most recently in healthcare and financial systems. Currently VP of UX Strategy for the Eastern Region of Human Factors International, April has worked with a broad spectrum of clients on projects ranging from kitchen appliances, to automotive infotainment systems, to call center applications. The common denominator is that she takes joy in crafting simple solutions to using complex tools. April teaches several courses in HFI's Certified User Experience Analyst curriculum (CXA), and has presented previously at World Usability Days in New York City and Memphis, as well as local UPA chapter events in New Jersey and Connecticut. A patent-holder for an award-winning remote collaboration system, April holds a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan.
