Steven M. Hoffberg

Steven M. Hoffberg is a NY patent attorney, and Of Counsel to Tully Rinckey PLLC, where he is head of the patent department. Mr. Hoffberg holds bachelor's and master's degrees from MIT, an MSEE from RPI, and a JD from Cardozo Law School. Mr. Hoffberg specializes in patent prosecution and licensing, entrepreneurial counseling, emphasizing comprehensive and strategic protection and monetization of intellectual property. He represents academic institutions, large and small entities. He is inventor of over 90 US patents, covering user interfaces (including speech), communications, optimization/game theory, cryptography, etc. Mr. Hoffberg has experience in creating (and working with creators), licensing, selling, and acquiring IP relating to speech technologies, as well as user interfaces, artificial intelligence, and contact/customer relationshp management optimization technologies.
