Raúl Castañón is an experienced industry analyst focused on understanding how emerging technologies are changing the workplace. He covers collaboration, mobility, IoT and AI technologies including NLP, speech recognition and intelligent assistants. He brings 15+ years of industry experience to his role as industry analyst. This includes working with speech technologies at EMOSpeech, an early-stage startup focused on speech emotion recognition. At Mavenir (formerly Xura) he gained significant experience with mobile technologies, working with tier one mobile operators to define strategy, pricing and business models for new voice and data products. For the last five years he has collaborated as judge for the MWC GLOMO Awards.
